  What is NUWAVE MAYAN? It's a term I created which I started to explore when the opportunity arose for me to share my art at The Lilley Museum (University of Nevada Reno). Through our collaboration, I created an artistic intervention aimed at The Lilley's permanent collection display. Creation allows us to connect with our real selves, a release of true self-expression and authenticity. Expectations are often projected in the mind of what creation through art should look like and we often focus too much on the outcome instead of the release.
