MEXIC-ARTE MUSEUM: ALIMENTO PARA EL ALMA / FOOD FOR THE SOUL
This piece will show at the Mexic-Arte Museum, for their upcoming group exhibition titled, Alimento Para el Alma / Food for the Sol. The show explores the theme of food and its ability to bring families and communities together. I will be showing my latest work at the Sierra Arts Riverside Gallery for the Members Only 12 x 12 Group Show. The group exhibition will run starting November 15th - 29th, with the artist reception happening Saturday, November 19th, 12-4 pm. Sierra Arts Riverside Gallery, 17 S Virginia St Suite 120, Reno I'm excited to be sharing my piece 'Resurgiendo de las Cenizas' a mixed media piece where I had the opportunity to continue exploring the medium of collage. Today I launched #nuwavemayan sketch of the day on instagram. It's a way to share insight into my creative mind with the masses. The foundation of my art practice starts with a sharpie marker to paper, drawing is my favorite way to immerse myself within my creative flow. Llegaron Los Guanacxs Exhibition
Saturday, September 24th was the opening reception for Llegaron Los Guanacxs which is a pop-up art exhibition being hosted in Salvadoran restaurant, El Rincon in Sparks, NV. The exhibition will show through the end of October, 2022. This exhibition consists of four Salvadoran-American artists, including myself as we aim to share our artwork in an accessible space to not only connect with the Salvadoran community but the community that frequents the restaurant.
